My Story

I’m a fully devoted follower of Christ. (The ‘fully devoted’ part is in progress, to be sure.)

My story?

I grew up knowing about Jesus. In and out of churches throughout my childhood. It wasn’t until I was 17 years old that everything changed. I had everything most 17 year olds would want and was doing the things that I thought I should do to live life and yet… it wasn’t life. I hated who I was but felt helpless to change.

Working in a restaurant that summer I met a young woman a few years older than me. I couldn’t put my finger on it, but there was something different about her. She seemed… alive. One night we talked and she told me about Jesus in a way I’d not heard before. Sitting in the front seat of her car, she opened her bible and shared one scripture with me. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him will not perish but will have eternal life.” He is the source of life and if I simply invited Him to invade my heart then I would experience life. I did. My life has never been the same.

It’s possible you’re searching for life and don’t know where to find it. The source is found in Jesus. Want to know more?
