I've always thought that was an odd translation anomaly in the Bible in English. God expects a good ROI from what he has entrusted to each of us. He said everything we have had, do have and are going to have is God's and we are just borrowing it for a while, so take care of it becasue some day you have to give it back. As a leader I would say that is what I need to be maximizing.
