I’m insecure.
I’m schizophrenic about my blog.
Can’t really figure out why I do it.
Is it an outlet for my opinions? A canvas for my journalistic tendencies?
I wish I could say that I blog, and don’t really care who reads it. But that would be a lie.
I watch the stats. I check how many visits I get in a day.
I watch for comments. Get excited when a conversation ensues.
I wonder how this blog portrays me and hope that I’m not painting a picture that is inaccurate.
In the end, I love the idea of building relationships with people I wouldn’t otherwise meet. Our physical paths may never cross, but our blogging paths can entwine.
That’s cool.
So, I’ll keep blogging… and hopefully some of the lurkers in this virtual room will join the dialogue.

have to say I love the community building value of blogging where I have met some great people from across the country whom I may never have met otherwise.

Blogs are rediculous,in a good way! You can care and not care about your blog at the same time. It’s cool to check the stats, engage in conversations with people…..
I really like the diversity in readers and reader perspectives.

I must confess, I have been reading your blog and very guilty of not posting. I too am insecure about what people might say about what I said, but I do enjoy your thoughtfulness and creativity that you portray through your messages!

You’re right! I’ve made some incredible people through this blog.
Aaron,
So how’d that exit interview turn out? Were there any probing questions? Hope it wasn’t too invasive.

hillarious!
They got to the bottom of it.
Turned out great. They said we could revisit the issue in 5 years. So until then I’ll keep developing daily.

Gina, HI! I just found your blog! I promise I’ve not been lurking! I’m blogger-challenged, which means I don’t know how to do any fancy stuff like adding folks to my ‘blog roll’ ? If that even what it’s called! Stats? Oh, I AM techno-challenged!
