I confess.
The classic ENFP.
I get into a relationship only to tire of it 9 months later. Love never lasts… does it?
I’m not talking about my marriage. I’m talking about my task management system.
I love the idea of organization but don’t stick with a strategy for more than 9 months. I get bored. It’s no longer entertaining. The ’shiny’ is gone. I need something new.
So I’m searching the web for the latest and greatest. Don’t know if this fits the category… but it’s awful fun to play with!

Matthew 9:38
I wonder what my body would look like if I worked harvesting a field all day. The constant labor would probably make me physically stronger.
When working in ‘His harvest field’, I am spiritually stronger.
hmm

Just sharing with my blogging friends. How is God shaping me this week? Teaching me to make the best of it when things don’t go as planned.
We changed our vacation plans this week. Kind of a bummer. Planning the trek to Destin, Florida where we planned to go to the beach, sleep, go to the beach, sleep, and go to the beach. A simple agenda.
But plans changed last week when Connor’s asthma took a turn for the worse. We rushed him off to the ER last Wednesday night. He’s better but on a strict regimen of breathing treatments. The Red Tide phenomenon making it’s way across the coastline of Florida is something we simply couldn’t take a risk on.
So we’re home making the best of our vacation time by working on the house. Not near as fun as the beach… but we’ll survive.

Here are some great blogs that caught my attention.
Floating Axhead talks about crossing the line. You be the judge.
Eric’s thoughts sober me.
Feeling trapped? Here’s what Scott has to say.
One of the most creative blogs I’ve seen. Explicit verbage.
And… Bob reminded me how to serve my husband. Thanks Bob!

The funny thing about vision is that it doesn’t have to be all that profound… does it? I think it just needs to be focused.
I really don’t know. I’m no expert. I just live what I’ve learned. There was a season in kids ministry at LifeChurch.tv (approximately 6 years ago) when our only vision for LifeKIDS was that the elementary programming simply wouldn’t suck anymore. From that simplicity grew an incredible vision for capturing kids attention.
I’m in a season of simplicity right now. Looking toward the upcoming year, the only thing I want people to embrace is that a child’s relationship with Jesus matters.
Pretty simple. Pretty straight forward. Shape every communication, every conversation, every presentation around this one theme… a child’s relationship with Jesus matters. They are not subordinate Christ-followers. Just a little shorter than we are. But the journey they’re on right now is just as important as ours.
