if there’s a project to be done around the house, it’s usually kyle that does it. if there’s a light bulb to be changed, a fixture to be replaced, a fence to be repaired, etc, etc… i usually add that to kyle’s to-do list.

what do i do? good question. i guess i figure that laundry, dishes and the weekly bathroom defunkifying is my ticket out of projects such as these. is that fair? i dunno. probably not. i’m spoiled.

so i stumbled upon boomama’s home make-over challenge this morning. i think i’m gonna’ take it. gratefully the competitiveness in my dna exceeds my procrastinating tendencies.  this is just the challenge i need to get the work done.  besides… a little painting might get me some sympathy back rubs from my hubby. i like those.

so, here’s the challenge put before me…

and here’s my list…

1. paint the laundry room
2. paint masterbedroom trim and walls
3. help kyle replace the flooring in master bedroom
4. reward myself with a few extra rounds of rockband

i’ll revisit the list on the 25th to share how i did. take the challenge… i dare ya’.
